·         Report on Behavioral Tools:

o   Conduct an Internet search for a professional article on a behavioral approach to working with an issue or issues that you might encounter as a human services worker. Study the article and be prepared to discuss your findings with your Learning Team. Each team

member should contribute his/her own article.

Meeting:

Discuss the results of your Internet search and identify appropriate behavioral tools for human services workers. Identify the situations in which they might be used.

Role-Play Using a Behavioral Tool:

Perform a role-play of a human services worker using a tool from a behavioral model when working with a participant. One or more students may take the role of the human services worker or workers teaching a participant a relaxation process or another tool, perhaps one found on the Internet. Discuss your experiences and what you might change in order to be more effective in the role of clinician.

Submit a Summary Report on the team’s findings and discussion of the selected theory, and related articles, for Week 2.  Include a brief transcript of the role-play. Include the resources the team investigated.  The report/transcript should be between 500 and 1000 words long.  All team members who participated in this report/role-play should be listed on the cover sheet. Utilize APA format and remember to submit your Certificate of Originality with any paper assignment, team or individual, that is submitted.
